A year on from the European Industrial Gases Association (EIGA)’s landmark centenary event, the organisation is placing its focus firmly upon the potential of hydrogen at its 2024 Summit in Antwerp, Belgium.
Under the banner ‘Enabling H2 together!’, the event aims to explore the full scope of the hydrogen ecosystem, from global hydrogen development and EIGA’s involvement in the domain, to the technical evolution of hydrogen development, safety around hydrogen refuelling stations and ammonia as a carrier for hydrogen and hydrogen storage.
Opening the event, Pascal Vinet, President of EIGA, emphasised the need to advance regulatory framework and development of hydrogen, stating that – although it is a key enabler for decarbonisation – hydrogen is not yet fully developed and all sectors have a key role to play in its advancement.
