The finance ministers of Greece and Egypt recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) whereby the two nations will meet on a regular basis to coordinate efforts to coordinate financial policies and facilitate technological cooperation.
The MoU was signed in Athens where the two parties met to talk about the current political situation in Europe given the lingering effects of Covid, rampant inflation, and the war currently raging.
The two countries discussed increased coordination on green energy policies, including electrical connection and how Greece could provide a gateway into Europe for green hydrogen produced by Egypt.
