Edison Energia has opened a 10 MW photovoltaic (PV) plant which will supply renewable energy to SIAD Group company Industria Gas Tecnici (IGAT) under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
The 10-year deal covers the production and collection of all the green electricity produced by the plant in the province of Alessandria, in order to meet part of the energy demand of the IGAT plant in Pignataro Maggiore, in the province of Caserta. The PV plant will have an average yearly output of around 14,000 MWh.
Bernardo Sestini, Chairman and CEO of the SIAD Group, said with this agreement, it confirms SIAD’s mission to ensure responsible and sustainable growth for the entire group.
