EcoFridge, a manufacturer of nitrogen powered transport refrigeration systems, has agreed for Transfrig to be its new distributor in South Africa.
Transfrig benefits from plants and sales offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban and will be responsible for the sales, installation and post-purchase support of ecoFridge systems across South Africa.
Managing Director of Transfrig, Peter Solomon, commented, “ecoFridge provides a perfect solution for truck and trailer temperature controlled transport and is highly effective both for mono and multi temperature configurations. The system is remarkably simple to operate, safe, economical and of course friendly to the environment – typically one ecoFridge system can save around 25 tonnes of carbon per trailer per year.”
EcoFridge’s CEO, Tom Roller, was equally as enthusiastic, “ecoFridge is experiencing burgeoning orders globally. Partnering with industry leaders in key markets, like Transfrig in South Africa, whose commercial profile fits with our own, has accelerated demand.
