One of Ukraine’s biggest energy companies DTEK Group (DTEK) has revealed that it will provide electricity to hospitals, army and bakeries in three regions free of charge as hostilities persist between Russia and Ukraine.
The company will supply the free-of-charge energy to facilities in Kiev, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.
Stating that Ukraine is going through ‘the most difficult period of its history’, Maxim Timchenko, CEO, DTEK, added that business will make every effort to help the state and the population.
“In addition to the humanitarian aid and army support programme, from March, we will provide all medical institutions, law enforcement agencies, and bread producers in the three regions with free electricity,” he said.
