Canadian helium exploration and development company Desert Mountain Energy has appointed Michael O’Shea to the Board of Directors.
O’Shea has agreed to become head of the audit committee as an independent director.
As a publicly traded entity, Desert Mountain Energy requires a board of competent independent members to meet the corporative governance standards set by the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC).
Robert Rohlfing, Executive Chairman and CEO of Desert Mountain Energy, says that the company has built multiple revenue streams that require the head of the audit committee to have the level of expertise that O’Shea possesses.
