The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals has concluded that the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) 2021 ban of non-refillable refrigerant cylinders is invalid.
Ohio-based Worthington Cylinders was supported by the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals in making the decision, stating that the EPA overstepped its authority granted by congress.
EPA proposed the regulations as part of implementing the American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act in April 2021.
