Cryologistics has launched its first logistic platform entirely dedicated to cryogenic gas activities in Belgium.
“When it comes to maintaining, purging, filling or organising the logistics of containers or cylinders, the number of interfaces and the distance between the different actors can dramatically slow down the process and generate delays or worse, increasing costs,” explained Michaela Astier, General Manager of Cryologistics.
This is why Cryologistics decided to set up its first cryogenic platform in Kallo, Belgium, that offers different services all centralised in one location. The site is strategically located in the port of Antwerp and close to the major gas companies of the area in order to reduce transportation costs and operation time.
The company also told gasworld it is looking to reproduce the same model in different locations and is already preparing the opening of another platform in Spain near Gibraltar.
