CPV Manufacturing has introduced its GBS Valve, a master valve rated for 6000 PSI oxygen and up to 7800 PSI in inert service.
The Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of high-pressure valves developed the products based on a growing demand for valves that can achieve higher pressures than what is currently offered on the market.
“We met and exceeded our goals for achieving these high operating pressure valves, even in oxygen service. We have created three GDB versions – two versions with FNPT end connections (½” and ¾” versions) rated for 6000 psi /414 bar in both oxygen and inert service.” the company said in a statement.”
“To achieve even higher pressures, the third valve is a union style valves which is rated at 7800 psi / 538 bar in inert and 6000 psi / 414 bar in oxygen.”
