The first conference sessions for gasworld’s Helium Super Summit are taking place in Houston today.
Things kicked off on Monday with registration and the Summit’s welcome event. On days two and three there’s a packed schedule of conference sessions to engage delegates, along with polling and audience–speaker Q&A enabled through the gasworld Conferences app.
Session one looks at the big picture in helium, with Phil Kornbluth of Kornbluth Helium Consulting getting the ball rolling with a look at macro issues and trends after a year of significant change in the global helium market. The opening sessions closes with an update on the BLM system from Kevin Lynch of the system’s new owner Messer.
The second session, on sourcing and supply, includes presentations from Dimitar Popcev of Helium24 Group, talking about the Amur plant and Russian helium supply, as well as Nathan Albrechtsen of ExxonMobil, who is providing an update and plant overview on the LaBarge facility in Wyoming.
