UK-based Cobham Mission Systems has received a $2.65m oxygen concentrator follow-on order from Northrop Grumman Corporation for the Navy E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, an Airborne Command and Control Aircraft (ACC).
The order is the second lot of a multi-year production contract for the delivery of oxygen concentrators for the platform.
“The award of this multi-year extension contract in support of the unique mission capabilities of the E-2D, exemplifies our commitment to the continued success of the platform and supports our strategy of providing world class expertise in aircrew life support systems to the warfighter across a diverse range of platforms,” said Jason Apelquist, Senior Vice-President of Business Development & Strategy at Cobham Mission Systems.
