In the past week, gasworld has heard that further strains in the US and UK carbon dioxide (CO2) supply chain are to be expected, so another turbulent summer and autumn could be on the cards.
The US managed to survive supply shortages last year (2023) but various sources suggest things aren’t looking so robust for 2024, with extended plant closures on the horizon.
This first became apparent to gasworld in its In Conversation With… TOMCO Systems webinar, where Jeff Holyoak, the company’s Vice-President of Sales and Market Development, said that the industry can expect to feel the pain of shortages.
