Plans for a brand-new carbon dioxide (CO2) liquefaction plant have been unveiled for the US West Coast.
Bright Renewables last week (25th August) said it would develop the site with a capacity of 800kg per hour to create greater independency on CO2 derived from natural gas.
According to a statement released by the technology firm, the liquefaction unit will be added to an existing biogas upgrader and will both purify and liquefy CO2 and create liquid bio-CO2.
Bright Renewables will then plans to use the end product in its industrial process.
