Beijing Peking University Pioneer Technology Co. Ltd (PKU Pioneer) has announced the export of the largest pressure swing adsorption (PSA) equipment ever from China.
India’s leading private sector steel producer, JSW Steel, was the recipient of the oxygen system.
The company signed a contract with PKU Pioneer as it continues to expand its crude steel production capacity, with the latter providing a VPSA (vacuum pressure swing adsorption) oxygen plant with a capacity of 15,000 Nm3/h to a purity of 93%.
The system will be for a retrofit project of JSW Steel’s blast furnace.
