Cheniere Energy has signed a long-term liquified natural gas (LNG) sales and purchase agreement with Korea Southern Power (KOSPO).
KOSPO today (16th May) said it would purchase around 0.4 million tonnes per annum of LNG from the US-based LNG firm from 2027 through to 2046.
A smaller annual quantity will be delivered from 2024.
Volumes set to be delivered from 2028 through to 2046 are subject to a positive final investment decision with respect to the first train of the Sabine Pass Liquefaction Expansion Project.
