Chart Industries has been recognised for its sustainability practices, having been named a winner of the 2024 Enlightened Growth Leadership Best Practices Awards, presented by Frost & Sullivan.
The US cryogenic equipment manufacturer today (12th July) confirmed the award, which builds upon its recent efforts, such as joining the United National (UN) Global Compact, a platform for the development, implementation, and disclosure of sustainable and socially responsible business practices.
Jill Evanko, CEO and President of Chart, said, “Receiving Frost & Sullivan’s Enlightened Growth Leadership Best Practices Recognition for a second year highlights our commitment not only to improving sustainability performance in our own operations but also to helping our customers achieve their ESG targets.”
Chart Industries wants to achieve Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050. The company’s 2023 Sustainability Report reported progress that included a 27% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions intensity in 2023, compared to 2022, and reaching its goal of a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 2030, seven years ahead of schedule.
