Chart Industries will supply hydrogen compression solutions to support Repsol’s €657m ($715m) expansion project at its Sines industrial complex in Portugal.
The US cryogenic manufacturer will supply two diaphragm compressors to ensure contamination-free, high-pressure hydrogen delivery at the upgraded plant, which will utilise solar-powered green electrolytic hydrogen.

Repsol’s Sines complex is the largest petrochemical facility in Portugal and marks one of the largest industrial investments made in Portugal.
