Chart Industries has signed a global master goods and services agreement to supply oil and gas major ExxonMobil with liquefied natural gas (LNG) equipment, technology, and services.
Announced today (8th January), the agreement will see Chart and Exxon develop and realise an initial LNG project design and then build several follow-up concepts to optimise global facilities.
The effort builds on Chart’s participation in Exxon’s Mozambique LNG project.
In October 2024, it was confirmed that the US cryogenic equipment manufacturer would supply its PSMR® liquefaction technology and proprietary equipment for the project, which is operated by a joint venture between ExxonMobil, Eni, and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC).
