Chart Industries, Inc., a cryogenic equipment manufacturer, has announced the appointment of a new President, citing he will be an “addition of operation and strategic talent.”
Chart has selected William C. Johnson as its new President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Johnson succeeds Sam Thomas as President, who will continue to run the US-based business as its Chairman of the Board and CEO.
Thomas commented, “We are very pleased to have attracted Bill, who is a very accomplished operational executive to add to the Chart management team.”
“We expect Bill’s addition of operation and strategic talent will bring enhanced value for the company and its stakeholders as we continue to focus on lean initiatives and operational excellence given challenging energy markets.”
