Independent equipment manufacturer Chart Industries (Chart) is partnering with air and gas handling solutions company Howden to advance the energy transition by developing and providing advanced hydrogen solutions.
Chart will combine its experience with hydrogen-related equipment manufacturing with Howden’s gas compression systems to meet the anticipated demand increase in the burgeoning hydrogen sector.
Seeing the partnership as a way to bring cost-effective, standardised solutions to the market, Ross Shuster, CEO, Howden added that it will help contribute to reducing emissions and adopting cleaner alternatives, saying, “This cooperation with Chart is a natural one given our common focus on customers, technology and innovation, and our passion for enabling the global clean energy transition.”
Chart also stated that the collaboration will also provide customers with global aftermarket support tailored to their needs.
