Chart Industries has partered with carbon-free fuelling firm ZEV Station to deploy US-based multimodal hydrogen stations.
Under terms of a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the duo will unite different standards of gaseous and liquid hydrogen vehicle fuelling using high flow and efficiency liquid pumping.
Chart will equip each station with its liquid-based equipment for fills of at least 8kg per minute. The technology will complement ZEV Station’s multimodal station design.
Jesse Schneider, CEO and Chief Technology Officer of ZEV Station, believes multimodal stations are needed to help converge the standards of heavy-duty hydrogen fuelling.
