The Asia Industrial Gases Association (AIGA) has announced changes to its leadership structure, following the retirement of long-term Secretary General LOW Wing Keong and the relocation of Board President Anne Roby.
AIGA has revealed that Milan Sarkar, formerly with Praxair India, has assumed the Secretary General position effective February 2014 and has been in transition with the current secretary until the end of March.
After 10 years as the secretary general, first appointed in 2003 when AIGA was established, LOW Wing Keong retires from AIGA. During his time in the role, AIGA has progressed steadily with National Associations and has maintained an active participation with the International Harmonization Council (IHC) on global standards for the industry.
