CGA’s Rich Craig to retire after years of industry service

The Compressed Gas Association (CGA) has announced that Rich Craig, Vice-President of Technical and Regulatory Affairs, will retire on 30th June 2025.

Craig joined the CGA in 2011 and has played a pivotal role in advancing safety and technical standards for the industry.

Over the years, he has worked with industry stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and international partners to develop and implement standards that protect workers, consumers, and the environment.

Rich Gottwald, President and CEO of the CGA, said, “Rich’s contributions to the CGA have the broader industry cannot be overstated.”

“His expertise, dedication, ad collaborative spirit has helped shape the safety and regulatory framework that underpins our industry today. We are immensely grateful for his service and wish him the very best in retirement.”

Before the CGA, Craig worked for Linde Division Union Carbide/Praxair for 36 years.
