The Compressed Gas Association (CGA) has launched a dedicated hydrogen membership to ensure all segments of the hydrogen economy are represented within its safety standards.
Formalised on Wednesday (2nd Nov), the new membership is open to any company active in the manufacture, sale, lease, transportation, or distribution of hydrogen, or of equipment, materials, supplies or technical services.
Would-be members need to be doing business or operating in the US, Canada or Mexico to be eligible.
Rich Gottwald, President and CEO of the CGA, said, “CGA has been at the forefront of publishing hydrogen safety standards since 1955 and more recently has been running a year-long public awareness campaign for hydrogen safety. Our work is just beginning, and we look forward to ensuring the bright future of hydrogen with our new Hydrogen Members.”
