The Compressed Gas Association (CGA) is pleased to announce the release of a new logo for the association.
The revised logo is designed to highlight the well-known CGA acronym, the full association name, and a new tagline reading The Standard for Safety Since 1913. The logo redesign carries on elements from the organisation’s special edition 100th anniversary logo used throughout 2013, and capitalises on CGA’s historic past as a leader in industry standards development.
The refreshed design distinctly ties the acronym to the name and mission. “Most people know us as our acroymn via reference to our standards in federal regulations or by the acroymn and connection numbers being stamped into valves to indicate the appropriate value to use with the type of gas, however they may not know our organization or safety mission”, said Michael Tiller, CGA President & CEO.
“We wanted the new logo to be meaningful, memorable, and serve as a visual representation of CGA’s mission of effective and appropriate self-regulation for industrial and medical gas safety, which has not changed in over a century.”
