This October (2023) gasworld celebrates its 20th anniversary and will begin to mark that milestone in the coming weeks, with a festival of features and celebratory content running from August to October.
A dedicated new anniversary zone will launch at gasworld.com in early August, with features and interviews charting key moments, events and industry stakeholders over our last two decades of reporting on the industry.
For the global industrial gas and equipment business, however, there’s over 120 years of innovation, scientific breakthrough and key actors to be celebrated – from the first liquefaction of air in 1895 to the birth of the modern helium business with arrival of the Helium Act of 1925 and the BLM Helium Reserve, through to the developments in life sciences in the 2020s that gave us the roll-out of the Covid vaccines.
To reflect this, from August to October gasworld will mark its own anniversary by celebrating over a century of the industrial gases business – and we want your help to pick out the key moments from our industry’s history!
