Spanish industrial gas corporation Carburos Metálicos will present its latest innovations and solutions in various fields such as cryotherapy and food preservation at the Expoquimia – The International Chemistry Event next month.
The Air Products subsidiary will have a booth in the Smart Chemistry Smart Future area showcasing PolarFit® Care, its innovative, safe and personalized solution of Whole Body Cryotherapy (CCE). PolarFit® Care is an application that uses liquid nitrogen(N2) to cool the air used in the CCE unit to reach extreme cold temperatures (between -90°C and -130°C) and take advantage of the cold body reactions that provide benefits in recovery and improvement of sports performance, physical rehabilitation, or in beauty and well-being, among others.
It will also show the benefits of its Freshline® Superfresh technology for food preservation and the synergistic effect of cryogenic freezing and packaging in a protective atmosphere for food preservation, among other innovations the company offers for sectors as diverse as food and beverages, water treatment, transport, fuel, automotive and health.
