Carbon capture solutions firm Carbon Clean has opened a new headquarters in Houston, Texas, to double its US headcount and meet growing demand for carbon capture technology.
Based in the UK, Carbon Clean supplies industrial carbon capture solutions for essential hard-to-abate industries such as cement, steel, refineries and energy from waste.
The company’s technology is active in 49 sites around the world and has captured over 1.8 million tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2).
Carbon Clean’s US expansion follows the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) driving demand for industrial carbon capture technologies in the US.
