A high-profile appointment has been made by US carbon capture company Carbon Clean, namely former US Secretary of Energy Ernest J. Moniz.
The role will see Moniz, founder of strategic advisory firm EJM Associates, joining the team as an advisor to the company’s Board of Directors.
As part of the industry’s efforts to decarbonise, Moniz will provide guidance to the company on its strategy to become a ‘leading player’ in the low-carbon transition.
With global focus shifting to removing carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere and enabling hydrogen production, Moniz sees carbon capture as a central part of a response to climate change.
