German gas generation plant specialists, Caloric GmbH, has been awarded two separate contracts to supply methanol cracking plants to customers in both China and Turkmenistan.
Firstly, the plant being delivered to China will be tested and pre-assembled in Germany, which will take 10 months, before being shipped out.
It will be able to produce 2000 Nm3 per hour of hydrogen (H2) via methanol reforming, which will be passed through its pressure swing adsorption (PSA) unit to ensure H2 purity levels of 99.999%.
