Founding Director of carbon capture specialist C-Capture, Professor Chris Rayner, has been recognised for his efforts in the field of research and development (R&D) by the Society for Chemical Industry (SCI).
In recognition of his work in carbon capture technology and sustainable chemistry, Rayner received the R&D for Society Award on September 22nd at the SCI Yorkshire and Humber Group Annual Awards held at the University of Leeds (UoL).
A Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and Professor of Organic Chemistry at UoL, Rayner founded C-Capture after working with carbon dioxide (CO2) to find new solutions to the carbon capture problem.
