As Covid-19 continues to blight India, the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) last month partnered with technology company Huawei to accelerate the facilitation of urgent medical supplies to support those most affected.
With rampant oxygen shortages across the country, the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor, Government of India, has provided guidance to the initiative. This saw the delivery of 200 oxygen concentrators, 15 HFNC CPAP oxygen therapy systems, and 200 remote monitoring units.
Welcoming the deployment of aid, Aswath Narayan C.N., Honourable Deputy CM of Karnataka, said, “In association with C-CAMP, Huawei India AVP Nathan handed over 200 oxygen concentrators to the Govt. These will be distributed equally between 40 constituencies.”
“We also launched innovative solutions, developed by C-CAMP to tackle Covid-19.”
