Buzwair Scientific and Technical Gases (BSTG) recently held a ceremony to mark its relocation to a larger dedicated specialty gases facility in Qatar.
The move aims to position BSTG at the forefront of specialty gas production and analysis in the Gulf region.
The new facility houses multiple production units, including an advanced hydrogen plant with a production capacity of 60 cubic metres (cbm) per hour for high-purity hydrogen and 30 cbm per hour for high-purity oxygen.
Additionally, the facility features four gas blending rooms, representing a leap forward in production capacity and versatility. These rooms enable the preparation of liquid and gas mixtures, as well as piston cylinder mixtures, to meet the precise requirements of the petrochemical industry.
Complementing its production capabilities, the facility is equipped with a hi-tech laboratory dedicated to the analysis of low-concentration gas mixtures, down to the part-per-billion level, for both reactive and non-reactive mixtures.
This includes hydrocarbon gas and liquid mixtures, as well as high-purity gases. The laboratory, which has held ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation since 2012, ensures that BSTG products meet the stringent demands of the oil and gas, petrochemical, and research and development sectors.
In line with its relocation, BSTG announced its ISO 17034 accreditation, recognising its competence as a Certified Reference Material (CRM) and Reference Material (RM) specialty gas producer. This accreditation underscores the company’s commitment to international standards in specialty gases production, providing clients with reliability and quality assurance.
BSTG’s main products and services are categorised under high-purity and calibration gases, disposable calibration gas cylinders, cylinder and valve equipment and special gas reticulation systems.
