Busch earns bronze in EcoVadis sustainability assessment

Dr.-Ing. K. Busch GmbH, a member of the global Busch Group, has been awarded the EcoVadis bronze medal in recognition of its sustainability efforts.

This marks the company’s debut in the EcoVadis sustainability ranking, placing it among the top 35% of organisations assessed over the past year.

The EcoVadis ranking, established in 2007, evaluates companies worldwide on their performance in sustainability across categories such as environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable sourcing. Over 130,000 companies from more than 180 countries have been assessed to date.

“This medal is an important milestone and shows that we are on the right track. We will continue to step up our efforts to become more sustainable in all areas of the company,” said Roland Zundl, Managing Director of Dr.-Ing. K. Busch GmbH.

Busch specialises in vacuum and low-pressure solutions, offering products and services that support industries such as chemical manufacturing, food production, and medical applications. Its portfolio includes vacuum pumps, compressors, and systems designed to optimise performance and energy efficiency.

The newly formed Busch Group unites three key players in vacuum technology: Busch Vacuum Solutions, Pfeiffer Vacuum, and centrotherm clean solutions.

Headquartered in Germany’s Black Forest, the Busch Group employs around 8,000 people worldwide.

“Technology from all three members of the Busch Group can be found in industries across the globe,” the Group said in a statement. “From food packaging to logistics, from microchips for electronic devices and from the medical sector to space research, the Busch Group provides solutions for the most diverse applications.”
