Kent Masters, former CEO of Foster Wheeler and current non-exec Director of AMEC Foster Wheeler, will be the opening keynote speaker for gasworld’s second Europe Industrial Gas Conference – which takes place in Budapest, Hungary, this May.
Masters served as a member of the Executive Board at The Linde Group AG from 2006 – 2011, with responsibility for the Global Business Unit Healthcare and the Business Area Merchant & Packaged Gases. He joined the company as a result of Linde’s acquisition of The BOC Group, where he had been Chief Executive, Industrial and Special Products and a member of the Board of Directors.
Masters will be speaking about the European Industrial Gases market from an outside perspective. The conference, entitled, “Two Markets, One Goal” will look at emerging trends within East and West Europe, examining the market developments and the overall aim of both regions – profitability.
