bp has filed a complaint with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) against LNG supplier Venture Global in relation to its Calcasieu Pass facility in Louisiana.
The oil and gas company has said that Venture Global is not being transparent about the status of the facility, which is expected to export 10 million tonnes per annum of LNG.
FERC requires LNG suppliers to disclose publicly the status of their export facilities to ensure transparency and fairness in the regulatory process.
Yet, according to bp, Venture Global has repeatedly submitted redacted filings to FERC that obscure the status of its Calcasieu Pass facility.
