German engineering and technology multinational Bosch has signed a deal with PowerCell Sweden (PowerCell) that will see Bosch adding PowerCell’s volumes of S3 — its hydrogen-electric fuel cell — to its own production.
With the demand for emission-free energy solutions growing rapidly, the deal adds to a number of significant agreements for fuel cell stacks and systems signed by PowerCell last year.
This includes series deliveries with zero emission aircraft manufacture ZeroAvia that covers 5,000 fuel cell stacks which is set to begin in 2024.
