BOC’s Morden site has won a Gold Achievement Award in this year’s RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards scheme.
Representatives from BOC, a member of The Linde Group, will be presented with the Gold award by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) during a ceremony in September.
The prestigious annual RoSPA Award scheme recognises commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention at work. Through the scheme, which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
BOC’s award is for Achievement, a non-competitive category in the RoSPA scheme. Achievement awards are based on an organisation’s individual occupational health and safety performance assessed against the judging criteria; BOC Morden’s entry included evidence of a good health and safety management system through key performance areas, supported by relevant documentation.
