A year after the global industrial gas company acquired its UK rival, Germany’s Linde AG has said its integration of BOC is proceeding as planned.
Speaking to reporters in Shanghai, Linde CEO Wolfgang Reitzle said, “We are well under way.” The successful combination and lengthy integration of the two companies is expected to be completed by the end of 2008, Reitzle confirmed in an earlier forecast.
Reitzle also reiterated Linde’s target of achieving more than €3bn in operating income by 2010, following on from recent continued growth in sales and operating profit for the first 6 months of 2007.
