BOC has impressed a Sheffield hospital so much with its ENTONOX delivery systems that it has now been asked to extend its services to other departments.
When the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit (O&G) at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS foundation trust (STH) was replacing its existing ENTONOX® delivery systems, it chose BOC’s range, with its extremely lightweight cylinders and specially designed demand valves.
The performance of the BOC system has persuaded the hospital to extend its use to patients in the Urology unit with other hospital departments also considering it as an option.
Sue Arnold, Healthcare Governance Coordinator for Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Neonatology and Urology at the Trust said, “The BOC system is more comfortable and easier for patients to use. It also has lower maintenance requirement, which makes it good value for money.”
