Finnish cryogenic measurement systems manufacturer Bluefors has completed the acquisition of Cryomech, a US-based cryocooler technology and manufacturing firm.
The acquisition significantly increases Bluefors’ direct presence in the US, with approximately one-third of its employees based in the state of New York.
Bluefors now has close to 600 employees and cryogenic experts in Finland, Germany, the Netherlands and the US.
Rob Blaauwgeers, CEO and founder of Bluefors, described the acquisition as a major milestone, adding that it strengthens the company’s position to meet its customers’ needs.
