Liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure solutions provider Black and Veatch has partnered with Baker Hughes to combine technologies for a new mid-scale LNG solution.
Specifically, the partnership will combine Baker Hughes’ LM9000 gas turbine and compression technology with Black & Veatch’s PRICO® liquefaction technology.
It is hoped that the new offering will produce up to two million tonnes per annum of LNG per train.
Alberto Matucci, Vice-President of Gas Technology Equipment of Industrial & Energy Technology at Baker Hughes, described both technology and collaboration as key pillars in the company’s strategy.
