BG Engineering, the subcontractor for precision machined components, has introduced a new in-house pressure test and assembly service, following the acquisition of a high-pressure testing facility adjacent to its existing facility in Chesterfield, UK.
The test equipment includes a Resato High Pressure Technology System and Haskel Pressure Controller, which have both been specially adapted to enable BG Engineering to pressure test valves and other components, up to 700 bar pneumatic and 1000 bar hydrostatic.
The company has also recruited a specialist operator, who has extensive pressure testing knowledge and more than 15 years experience in the design and testing of pressurised equipment, to manage the new operation.
