Energy technology company Baker Hughes has launched its newest hydrogen pressure sensors for a variety of applications, including gas turbines, hydrogen production electrolysis, and hydrogen filling stations.
Dubbed the Druck hydrogen-rated pressure sensors, the technology offers long-term stability and can withstand harsh environments.
Gordon Docherty, General Manager of Baker Hughes’ Druck product line, notes that hydrogen plays a key role in the transition to a more sustainable future, but also poses challenges for infrastructure and equipment due to hydrogen embrittlement.
He added, “The release of our new hydrogen technology enables customers to benefit from a pressure sensor that can withstand harsh hydrogen environments for the long term, while also providing advanced levels of accuracy and reliability.”
