H2U and GE’s oilfield services arm Baker Hughes (BHGE) are partnering to develop the first NovaLT16 gas turbine running on 100% hydrogen.
The Australian hydrogen infrastructure developer confirmed today that it will use GE’s oilfield services arm’s NovaLT gas turbine generators at its green hydrogen power plant near Port Lincoln, South Australia.
The two companies will also work together to integrate BHGE’s NovaLT16 unit, configured for 100% hydrogen-fired operation. The project is due to be completed in 2020.
