Air Liquide’s subsidiary, AXANE, has tested its fuel cell at a French ski resort.
AXANE, in partnership with EDF, has tested its fuel cell at the Autrans ski resort in the French Alps, to light a cross-country trail.
AXANE’s 2.5kW fuel cell made it possible to supply electricity to a loop of the ski trail without any emissions polluting the totally isolated site.
The use of a fuel cell supplied with hydrogen is a clean alternative for producing electricity on isolated sites of the network.
