The fifth annual ATMOsphere America 2016 was held on June 16-17 at the Westin Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. Over 340 experts from more than 140 companies and organizations gathered to discuss the latest policy, market, and technology trends affecting the natural refrigerant sector in North America.

US retailers were particularly well represented at this year’s conference, which aimed to shed light on the latest trends in commercial and industrial refrigeration. Natural refrigerants are on the rise in the US as regulatory developments and environmentally-conscious end-users drive their wider use. Commercial refrigeration was at the heart of the discussion, but a wide variety of other sectors were also covered, including hydrocarbons for America, light commercial refrigeration, and industrial refrigeration.
