Atlas Copco has entered into an agreement to acquire Cere Technologies, a US manufacturer of gas and vapour delivery equipment for the semiconductor industry.
News of the planned acquisitions comes amidst supply concerns in the semiconductor market, as a result of increased demand and, most recently, the Ukraine-Russia war.
The acquisition also includes the purchase of two affiliate companies: North Park Metalworkers and Peak Precision Technologies. Together, the companies boast approximately 185 employees.
