Atlas Copco to acquire Netherlands-based Perslucht Wilda

Atlas Copco has signed a deal to acquire compressor distributor Perslucht Wilda.

Based in the Netherlands, Perslucht Wilda provides portable air compressors, generators, light towers, small electric compressors, and associated services.

The company has nine employees and was founded in 1979.

Once acquired, Perslucht Wilda will become part of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business area. The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter 2024.

Andrew Walker, President of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business area, said, “The acquisition of Perslucht Wilda provides an excellent opportunity to extend our direct network and presence with aftersales service in the Netherlands.”

The purchase price was not disclosed.

Last month, Atlas Copco also announced its plans to acquire Auckland-based speciality power rental solutions business Generator Rental Services Limited (GRS).
