Atlas Copco has signed a deal to acquire Anhui NOY Technologies, a China-based manufacturer of vacuum helium leak detectors.
Announced today (10th July), the purchase will see Anhui NOY Technologies become part of Atlas Copco’s Scientific Vacuum division within the Vacuum Technique business area.
Based in Hefei City, Anhui Province, Anhui NOY Technologies has 78 employees and, in 2023, had revenues of around $16.8m.
Geert Follen, President of Atlas Copco’s Vacuum Technique business area said the acquisition will strengthen Atlas Copco’s core in-house helium leak detector technology.
He added, “Anhui NOY Technologies was founded in 2016, exhibiting rapid growth by initially serving the EV battery market, while diversifying into other markets in recent years.
The acquisition is expected to close in the second half of 2024. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Less than a week ago (4th July 2024), Atlas Copco announced its purchase of Czech engineering company Mont-Tech.
Mont-Tech is headquartered in Brno, Czech Republic, and offers customised engineering solutions for assembly automation. The company has 27 employees and reported revenues of €3.5m ($3.8m) in 2023.
